Cookie and the Most Annoying Girl in the World Reader Reviews

Cookie and the Most Annoying Girl in the World

I was surprised to read Cookie's gran comes from Bangladesh because my gran does too. This is the first time I've read about a Bangladeshi character. I loved looking at the illustrations, especially the speech bubbles, cute unicorns and all the animals. On the cover I admired the doodles and the little details. I can’t believe they were drawn by the author. This is perfect for fans of 'Diary of a wimpy kid' and 'Dork Diaries'.

Cookie and the Most Annoying Girl in the World was so funny. It's about a girl called Cookie who gets two tickets to see a singer who she doesn’t even like because she thinks the lyrics do not make sense. Cookie’s elder sister, Roubi reminded me of Delia from Tom Gates- a gloomy character eager to get rid of her younger sibling.

Cookie is a character who worries a lot like me. My favourite part is when they go camping, Alison goes to the toilet and she thinks she sees a ghost although it turns out to be Mrs Edmonds, who once joined the army. I would love to read the first book next!

I love this book and I am sure other people will too and girls and boys can enjoy it. The pictures are funny and the explain more about the story. This book is in my top 5 for this year and I think you will love it.

Cookie and the most annoying Girl in the World is one of the best books I have ever read. As soon as it arrived I started reading it and I didnt want to stop reading as it was so good.
The story is funny and exciting and it teaches you about saving the planet.
This book is great for 7 years old up and has funny drawings inside.
I hope that there will be another story soon and I cant wait to read it.

I really enjoyed this book. I read the whole thing in two days!

I really enjoyed this book. I read the whole thing in two days!
Cookie is cooler than a caterpillar and caterpillars are pretty cool. Mrs Edmand's isn't as bad as I thought she would be either.

I loved the little cartoons on each page. They were really funny and helped tell the story.

I was able to read this book even though I haven't read the first. It has made me want to buy all the books in the series!!

I loved Cookie so much I read this three times straight off! Cookie is funny and relatable. Perfect for kids age 8 plus

I was lucky enough to be sent a copy of Cookie and the most annoying girl in the world by Konnie Huq and I have loved it. I am now reading it for the third time!

It is a great book for children who don’t like reading huge amounts as it has lots of different styles to catch your attention. Most of it is written as a chapter book, but it is from Cookie’s perspective and really easy to follow, almost like a diary, then it is broken up with emails and lots and lots of drawings and sketches.

I really enjoyed the way Cookie thinks as it is very easy to relate to.

The book follows her story and the lives of her friends Jake and Kenziah as well as the most annoying girl in the world- Suzie Ashby and some other children from their class. Cookie is given some tickets to the Aliana Tiny concert and suddenly finds Suzie Ashby wants to be her best friend, which comes with more problems than Cookie could have imagined.

Cookie suffers with major FOMO and it is this 'fear of missing out' that means she finds herself signed up to The F Factor. It turns out the F Factor isn’t quite what she imagined.

I love the storyline of the book as it is really entertaining. I like the way Cookie ends up learning a bit about herself and her friends but still stays like a normal kid. While there is a bit of a lesson in the book it isn’t too much!

I hadn’t heard of the Cookie books before, but I enjoyed this one so much I asked for the first Cookie book for my birthday.

Konnie Huq’s book is perfect for kids age 8 upwards and is ideal for both bookworms and more reluctant readers.

A great story for fans of Diary of a Wimpy Kid - Cookie is such a fun character!

I loved Cookie especially the camping part! The pictures were really good and the story was funny. Cookie is a great character because she wants to do good things for the world. I felt sorry for her in parts but I liked the ending. I think that anyone who likes Diary of a Wimpy Kid should read the Cookie books!
