Grimwood

Read it in one go because I couldn’t stop myself from cutting off all the laughter that it brings.

It’s one of the greatest and funniest books I’ve ever read. I read it in one go because I couldn’t stop myself from cutting off all the laughter that it brings. Willow and Ted are my favourite characters. They are young and fully of merry-ness. Willow takes Ted on a tour of Grimwood and there are lots of funny lines. And I love the Fairybeast-o-meter. It makes me want one for myself. I would recommend you read this book as soon as you can.

This book has been able to entertain me for hours non-stop while making me laugh out loud and I am hoping for more.

Join Ted and Nancy on a hilarious adventure to try and defeat an evil cat seeking revenge after her tail got bitten off! Ted and Nancy move to Grimwood but will it be enough to stop this cat?

This book has been able to entertain me for hours non-stop while making me laugh out loud and I am hoping for more. The characters are really fun and the pictures bring the story to life. I enjoyed the book and I hope you will too.

So funny and exciting, lots of shocks and laughs. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat. Ted is lovable, Nancy loves coffee and Princess Buttons is fluffy and terrifying!

I would highly recommend this book to anyone 6-100! It is a funny and exciting book with lots of laughs and shocking moments. Ted and Nancy are a pair of foxes on the run from the terrifying, yet fluffy, Princess Buttons after a terrible accident. All Ted wants is a friend and all Nancy wants is to keep her brother safe. Read this book, you won't regret it!

A tale of two young foxes from the Big City who have to go on the run after an "incident" with the local cat gang, and hide out in Grimwood, where life is weird in a wonderful way. I loved the illustrations too. I recommended it for anyone who likes humour with a twist or stories about friendship.

A completely bonkers tale of two young foxes from the Big City, Ted and Nancy. They have to flee their home after the younger one (Ted) has an unfortunate run-in with Princess Buttons, the diabolically evil leader of the local cat gang.
Ted and Nancy go on the run and hide out in Grimwood, which is home to, as Nancy puts it, “a right bunch of weirdos!” – in other words, a cast of completely crazy, but mostly kind and lovable, animals, from the coffee drinking Scottish owl, Frank, to joy-riding badgers in a jeep, a theatre diva duck, and a cute but combative bunny called Willow who wants to be Ted’s best friend. In Grimwood, the madness continues… meanwhile Princess Buttons is on their tail…(about her tail, which is another tale).
I thought it was a completely wacky story, weird in a wonderful way, with lovely illustrations. We’re in Grimwood, and we’ve definitely travelled into a place which seems like another dimension where the abnormal is normal and nothing is how you expect. For an example, four words: fox with a phone!
I would recommend this book to people of any age from 5 to 99 who love weird and wacky things, slightly surprising humour with a twist, and also stories about friendship, and are OK with the occasional slight shock and one death of a minor character.

A funny book from start to finish a must for anyone who likes a funny fiction book.

A funny book from start to finish, I couldn't wait to read what happened next and had my in stitches of laughter throughout the whole story.

A really entertaining book that any KS2 child will enjoy - especially those who love funny books and like to laugh!

Grimwood tells the tale of two foxes who set out to find food but with no luck! They are determined to find some in order to survive and will do anything it takes so they set off on an incredible adventure! I really enjoyed reading this as it was really entertaining and I think lots of people would like to read it. There are illustrations throughout that children will love to look at and they really add to the story. I would recommend this book to any Key Stage Two children, especially those who love funny books and like to laugh. My favourite part was when the foxes managed to escape from the police and scared them away!

It’s like you’re actually on the adventure in Grimwood Forest with the fabulous foxes Ted and Nancy. It is a very fun book and I think that all kids would love it, but if you really enjoy reading then it's even better! I could not stop reading this book.
