The Lovereading4Kids comment

As its title intends to show this is a hilarious, offbeat comedy that will deliver surprises on every page. The author is brilliant at getting across teenage angst whilst at the same delivering a terrific plot that will ensure you’re amused and confused in equal measure. This is his best yet.

Synopsis

Me, Dead Dad And Alcatraz by Chris Lynch

Elvin Bishop wakes up one morning to find that his uncle is not dead, but very much alive and kicking and on Elvin's couch. Whether he likes it or not, Elvin's going to have to make lifestyle changes. From a disastrous wave perm and highlights to tuba lessons and gym membership, Elvin's introduction to the world of a 'real man' is not all smooth.
