The Lovereading comment:

The first in an upbeat adventure-fantasy series with character led humour that is perfect for boys.  Think Shrek meets Pirates of the Caribbean.  Hugo is an apprentice mapmaker with a knack for attracting the weirdest things to him.  So why is he so surprised when his mapmaking skills make him end up stranded on a mist-shrouded island where pigs fly and buffalogres want him for dinner?

Perfect for Reluctant Readers as well as keen readers.  To view other titles we think are suitable for reluctant readers please click here.
