Synopsis

The Cave by David Gatward

Interest Age 9+ Reading Age 8+. Carrie's terrified of enclosed spaces, so she's not looking forward to going caving with her schoolfriends, especially as Jack is in her team. Once she's down there, however, things go from bad to worse - she and Jack get separated and must find their way back. Will they make it? Action-packed adventure about facing your fears.

About the Author

David Gatward trained as a teacher and outdoor pursuits instructor before working in various editorial roles in the publishing industry. He has written numerous titles for Kevin Mayhew publishers, as well as the popular Demon Defenders series for Puffin, under the pseudonym Jake Lancing. David lives in Somerset.
