Topped up with the right ingredients of slugs, toenail clippings, earwax, spiders and some special glue, the monster-making machine churns out all kinds of monsters. They’re fun to play with until… the monsters discover they really come from another country far, far away. Monsters can be creators too and soon they have made their own machine for their own purposes…

The Monster Machine by Nicola L. Robinson

This book is great fun with hilarious monsters - and an important message about working together.

It is vibrantly illustrated with lots to look out for on every page, by the illustrator of Jasper Fforde's The Last Dragonslayer. A wonderful text to read aloud.

The Monster Machine has it's own brilliant website full of exciting activities and competitions and a blog so you can keep up with all those monster adventures!

Reviews

Bold and bigger than life...Children will enjoy the complexity of the artwork paired with the simplicity of the text.
