The Book with No Pictures by B. J. Novak

The Good Book Guide logo The Good Book Guide Review. This book has no pictures. It is written to be read out loud by an adult to a young child. One might think such a book could not possibly work. However, this brilliant book with its hilarious, anarchic text proves them wrong. It takes the reader and the listener on a fantastically funny journey where the reader has to say everything that is written on the page – even things they don’t want to – such as silly sounds and ridiculous voices. Incredibly clever, mischievous and ingenious, this unique and joyful book needs to be experienced. (Ages 2–6)

The Book with No Pictures by B. J. Novak

You might think a book with no pictures seems boring and serious. Except's how books work. Everything written on the page has to be said by the person reading it aloud. Even if the words say ...BLORK. Or BLUURF. And even if the words include things like BLAGGITY BLAGGITY and MY HEAD IS MADE OF BLUEBERRY PIZZA! That's the rule. That's the deal. Brilliantly irreverent and very, very silly, The Book With No Pictures will delight kids and have them begging for more. From award-winning US comic writer and actor, B. J. Novak.
