Synopsis

Get Ready for Starting School Workbook Give Your Child a Head Start at School by Andrew Brodie, Judy Richardson

For pupils aged 4 or 5 who are preparing to go into the Reception Year at their very first school, this book contains activities in numeracy and literacy, together with a range of materials for other early years subjects. Parents can use this book at home with their child to help build confidence and familiarise their child with the sort of activities they are likely to encounter as school.

About the Author

Andrew Brodie was a head teacher for twelve years after many successful years in the primary classroom. He began writing his best-selling educational books in 1992 and since then has established himself as a name that teachers have come to trust. He is still very much involved in education and continues to teach on a regular basis.
