Fairytale Frankie and the Tricky Witch by Greg Gormley

Beneath this glitter-tastic cover is a page-turning hide-and-seek adventure full of favourite fairytale characters from princesses to unicorns to knights, with a magically funny and reassuring twist at the end. This funny, fast-paced story is a visual feast - a real treat from one of the most exciting contemporary artists working today, illustrator of the much-loved top seller Shifty McGifty and Slippery Sam. Reviews

Superbly imaginative and wonderfully illustrated with joy and verve -- Sarah Brew Parents in Touch A storytime favourite that we've also had great feedback on from parents The Alligator's Mouth Bookshop This is the perfect antidote to a profusion of pinkness WRD A fun-filled caper full of fairytale characters with fabulous illustrations and lots to spot on every page, and a magical twist at the end to boot. Surrey Advertiser, Aldershot News & Mail, Buckinghamshire Advertiser & Examiner A fun-filled caper full of fairytale characters with fabulous illustrations and lots to spot on every page, and a magical twist at the end to boot Aldershot News & Mail This is a humorous story with lots of child appeal, and attractive illustrations that work well. What I particularly like about this story was its subversion of stereotypes -- not only is the witch perfectly nice and friendly, but Frankie is a girl who wears dungarees and the Brave Knight certainly isn't School Librarian
