The Perfect Picnic by Ciara Flood

The Perfect Picnic by Ciara Flood

Today, Squirrel and Mole are going on a picnic. Squirrel is determined that it will be the most perfect picnic ever. But the meadow is too sunny, the hill is too windy, the beach is too sandy and the river is definitely far too wet. A hilarious tale of very different friends and very lost sandwiches from the author of Those Pesky Rabbits.

About the Author

As a child, Ciara Flood enjoyed nothing more than snuggling into bed and reading Asterix. She would spend hours creating stories and characters of her own. Now she is grown up she still loves doing these things, but she is lucky enough to do them as a job. After studying Visual Communications in Dublin, Ciara travelled the world. She funded her trips by working as a fruit-picker, hot-dog vendor and dog-calendar seller but proved useless at all of these so went back to doing graphic design and illustration. She now lives with her partner and daughter in London.
