Plunge into the Pirate Pool by Caryl Hart

It's rainy and cold, and Albie's so tired that he doesn't want to go swimming. But when, Albie dives into the pool he finds himself swallowed by a shark-shaped submarine! He realizes these won't be any swimming lessons because this is a pirate pool! Join Albie as he goes on a underwater treasure hunt, meets scary underwater creatures and makes some pirate friends - swimming has never been so much fun!

About the Author

Caryl Hart

Caryl is a full time children's writer, who also runs creative workshops with local schools. Her first picture book, Don't Dip Your Chips in Your Drink, Kate! won two regional awards, and is shortlisted for a third. She lives in the Peak District with her guitar-playing husband, two cheeky daughters, one extremely fluffy black cat, a goldfish, four hens and a dog called Roo. As well as writing, Caryl loves walking in the hills, swimming, snuggling, baking, weeding, running, sleeping, chatting, and sitting in cafes.
