Synopsis

Stranger in the Snow Un Extrano En La Nieve by Lynne Benton

A bilingual fiction title for children who are independent readers. The parallel text, speech bubbles and pictures by different, talented illustrators provide a child-friendly bridge to reading - and speaking - in another language. There is a quiz at the end of each story to help comprehension and revise vocabulary.

About the Author

Lynne trained as a primary school teacher, and spent several years teaching in and around Bath, where she still lives with her husband. She also spent five years working as pianist and receptionist in a Dancing school. It was only when their four children began leaving home for university that Lynne gave up teaching and began writing seriously, and since then she has had fourteen children's fiction books published, including four for Franklin Watts. The Chariot Race is her first story for b small.

Highly original and increasingly sought after by parents in instilling children with a love of languages, b small goes from strength to strength.
