About the Author

Clare was brought up in North London where she still lives and works. Having studied graphics and illustration at art college, within a year Clare got a job at the BBC as an illustrator for children's programmes. After creating a felt activity book for b small publishing, Clare developed her popular illustration style using felt, buttons, braid and fabrics. Clare still illustrates and writes lots of pen and ink activity books for b small publishing and is developing a range of paper collage books.
