Max is growing up, he’s old enough to swap his toy dog Snuffly Poo for a real dog. Monty is friendly and boisterous, the perfect puppy, but looking after him isn’t easy, and getting him to settle down to sleep is very hard indeed … Children might just recognise some of their behaviour in Monty’s, they’ll certainly enjoy the last spread which shows Monty, Max and Snuffly Poo tucked up in Max’s dog basket. A lovely story about the trials and tribulations of owning a puppy – or of being the parent of a toddler! ~ Andrea Reece
Every child wants a pet, right? Wouldn't it be great to have someone to play with, someone to share things with, and someone to care for? Max gets the dog of his dreams, but he soon realizes that looking after a puppy isn't as easy as it looks!
