The Lovereading4Kids comment

A must read for any fans of the cracking sci-fi post-apocalyptic Maze Runner series for 11+ year olds, The Fever Code is the electrifying prequel that holds all the answers.

The world has ended: the earth is scorched, and fever rages through the population. Out of the chaos, a boy emerges with the power to change everything: Thomas. This is the start of his story.

I’m a great believer in reading a series in the order the author intended so I would recommend starting with the The Maze Runner itself if you’re new to the series. You’re in for an absolute treat! ~ Shelley Fallows
