The Lovereading4Kids comment

With nobody watching it’s the perfect time for the bunnies to dance, and they do, clapping their paws, twisting and twirling, shaking their tails. They sing and play too, with a wholehearted, wild abandon beautifully captured in Ellie Sandall’s illustrations. But uh-oh, the sharp-eyed will spot a sinister shadow looming over them – fox! Now every bunny must run, and hide, and watch and what a surprise is instore because the Fox is a mover and musician too, waltzing and pirouetting, a velvety red virtuoso. Soon the bunnies are clapping, and joining in. Surprising and joyful this is a vibrant celebration of music, dancing and the fact that we’ve got much more in common with our enemies than we think. ~ Andrea Reece

Synopsis

Everybunny Dance by Ellie Sandall

A delightfully exuberant story about friendship and looking beyond appearances from a talented young picture book creator. Did you know that bunnies love to dance? Did you know they love to sing and play the flute? There's a lot they get up to when nobody's watching! But while they're having fun, they don't notice that someone is creeping nearer. Does he mean trouble? Or does he just want to play?

About the Author

Ellie Sandall

Ellie Sandall loved drawing from an early age and has a passion for picture books (she keeps her collection in a huge wardrobe in her studio!) After competing a degree in Graphic Design at Bath Spa University, she became interested in drawing and writing specifically for children, and went on to achieve a Master's degree in Children's Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art. As a child, her favourite picture book was The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and she still loves the work of Eric Carle. In her spare time Ellie loves to get stuck into some DIY or go out in her kayak, and she dreams of one day owning her very own sausage dog. Everybunny Dance is her fifth picture book.
