The Lovereading comment:
The Higher Institute of Villainous Education, or H.I.V.E as it is more commonly known, selects its students carefully: each has a special talent for the supremely villainous. Otto Malpense has been chosen for his skills in Global Domination. But, Otto doesn’t feel the need to study when he’s already so skilled. Can he escape? A thrilling story about some unusually villainous students.

About The Author
Mark Walden spent ten years producing video games for a living before finally deciding that perhaps it was time to do some ‘real work’. His first book H.I.V.E was selected a winner in Richard and Judy ‘Best Kid’s Books Ever’, Paramount optioned the film rights, and it has now been chosen as one of ten titles to feature in Booktrust’s Booked Up scheme to give every secondary school child a free book. He has followed this success with further titles in the extraordinarily brilliant H.I.V.E series. Mark lives in Hampshire with his family.
