The Lovereading4Kids comment

Three brilliant books in one volume from one of the most popular authors for the 10plus girls market. The writing is pure escapism and is full of fun, romance, humour and drama making it ideal for holiday reading.

Synopsis

Totally Brilliant by Cathy Hopkins

The first three in one volume of the series, Truth, Dare, Kiss or Promise, Meet the girls in WHITE LIES AND BAREFACED TRUTHS, the first in the series. Cat faces a major dilemma after a game of Truth, Dare, Kiss or Promise – is it right to tell lies to protect people or keep the peace? Can the truth be too hurtful? Cat tries to sort all this out and in doing so discovers a lot about herself and others …Then in POP PRINCESS, Squidge dares Becca to enter the Pop Princess challenge. With the reputation of being fickle, a dreamer and not seeing things through, Becca is determined to try harder than she has ever tried before. She’s got the voice, but has she got the staying power? In TEEN QUEENS AND HAS-BEENS, Lia has everything- a glamorous home and family, good friends, great looks and brains – and has remained kind and unpretentious. But when she pulls the school heart throb in a game of Truth, Dare, Kiss or Promise, she alienates ‘teen queen’ Kaylie, who starts a bullying campaign against her. Soon Lia begins to question everything – who she really is, why these girls have got it in for her and who her real friends are …
