The Lovereading4Kids comment
A brilliant and completely unique book package appeared recently here at Lovereading4kids and we think it’s absolutely marvellous. It will enable young and old, reluctant readers and those who love books, to unlock their imaginations. The world of storytelling has been around for an awfully long time, everyone likes to tell a story but how to begin?
Open Storyworld and you’ll discover the world of storytelling at your fingertips. Storyworld is an ingenious idea. The storyteller joins up one of the many starting points provided by the cards in the pack with one of the ending points by using signposts and suggestions for new strands to shape the narrative. It really is a toolkit for the imagination and the special gift box contains a book featuring some stories created using various cards from the pack, a key to the cards and details of how Storyworld works plus in addition to the book you’ll find 40 Storyworld cards that suggest a myriad of characters, places and objects to bring into your story. It’s great fun to pick cards at random and make use of the pictures and words on them as inspiration, or you can be more set and choose cards of your choice to create a story. It works every time and is a brilliant way of firing a child’s imagination. Try it...
Storyworld is also available in special, themed packs. The first two packs are Faery Magic and Quests and Adventures. Each pack contains 28 carads and its own mini storytelling book.
