We suspect this may well be Sophia Bennett's break-out novel. Her previous ones have done immensely well but this novel for teenagers is blisteringly good. It's the story of two sisters whose world falls apart just as for one of them fame is there for the taking. It will make you laugh and cry by turns and it's not to be missed.

Synopsis
The Look by Sophia BennettWhen Ted is spotted by a model agency, she can't believe it. At the same time her gorgeous sister, Ava, is diagnosed with cancer. About The Author
Sophia Bennett has always wanted to write books. Her debut novel Threads won the Times/Chicken House Children’s Fiction Competition. Sales of over 100, 000 copies followed, with rights sold in 10 countries, and a TV series currently in production with Lime Pictures for Nickelodeon. Sophia is mad about the fashion world and has written for several national newspapers. She lives in London with her husband and children. Sophia will be appearing at the 2012 Hay Festival.
