March 2014 MEGA Debut of the Month A tea time adventure that goes badly wrong when the guest gets completely stuck in the fog! The Little Mouse Lil has invited her friend Harry the Hog for tea. The table is piled high with all his favourite delicacies but where is Harry? Little Lil asks all the animals she meets if they’ve seen her friend. No one has seen all of him but each has seen a snippet. Together, the friends set off to search for Harry through the thick, thick fog. Synopsis

Hog in the Fog A Harry & Lil Story by Julia Copus

The tale of a hog in the fog. This is the story of Candy Stripe Lil and Harry the Hog who lived over the hill...

and a foggy March day, roundabout three,

when Lil had invited Harry for tea.

Lil is expecting Harry the Hog for tea, but there's a swirling fog outside and Harry is nowhere to be seen. Lil sets off to find her friend. Luckily she meets Deer, Sheep and Crow along the way, who all join in the hunt to find the hog in the fog.

This is the launch title on Faber's brand-new picture book list. A beautiful story about adventures, friendship, and chocolate chip beetles for dinner, the tale is told in fizzingly original rhyme. Accompanied by beautiful and warm illustrations from new illustrator Eunyoung Seo, this is the perfect poetry picture book for young readers.

Reviews

I totally love the foggy bits, they’re beautiful Eva-May, age 5

It’s actually written by a poet, that’s why the rhyming is so good Santi, sge 7, explaining it to his mum
