About the Author

Stephen, Ross, Stewart Biesty

Stephen Biesty studied illustration, specialising in historical and architectural drawings. He achieved international fame with his enormously popular 'Incredible Cross Sections' books, which have sold over 2 million copies worldwide and have won numerous awards. His illustrations are unrivalled for their ambitious scope and extraordinary attention to detail.

Stewart Ross is a popular, prize-winning children's author. He has written over one hundred books for children, including many on 20th century history. His works have been translated into more than a dozen languages. Stewart taught history, english and politics for ten years to children of all ages.
