The Lovereading comment:
A delightful tale that’s just right as that last bedtime read for toddlers everywhere. Clever use of typography merge beautifully with some eye-catching illustrations of Sleepyhead, his mum and his friends. A complete delight.
Synopsis
Sleepyhead by Karma WilsonSleepyhead, Sleepyhead, Good night, good night, my sleepyhead. Little Kitten is putting her favourite teddy bear to bed, just as her mother always does with her. About The Author
Karma Wilson is the author of the extremely successful BEAR series. She lives in Idaho, USA, with her family. Her first book, Bear Snores On, was released in 2002. Since then Karma has had more than 30 books accepted for publication. Her books have received many state and national awards, been translated into dozens of languages, and a few have made an appearance on the New York Times bestseller list.
Karma writes humorous, rhythmic picture books for the very young and books that share her faith in a fun, understandable way with the youngest readers. Karma is also pursuing her love of outrageously silly but sometimes philosophic poetry for older children (i.e. Shel Silverstein) and has a book of poems coming out in a few years titled What’s the Weather Like Inside which will be illustrated by Barry Blitt.
