The Lovereading4Kids comment

Next to the glow of the open hearth and tucked safely away within the logged walls of traditional storytelling, comes an eclectic collection of folk tales from all around the world. Scottish fishermen, Russian peasants, Czech cobblers and Canadian bears all feature in various tales of lore about the winter season. This book is the perfect antidote for a long day inside while outside the wintry weather rages.
