The Lovereading4Kids comment

Four great, easy-to-read stories about the popular witch Winnie and her loyal cat Wilbur. Winnie and Wilbur have an adventure with a tooth fairy who gives Winnie a terrible fang, deal with the fleas in Wilbur’s fur when they want to show him off, set up their own one-witch band and try to get themselves tidied up and prettified for a photograph. Scruffy and chaotic, Wilbur and Winnie magic-enhanced life is fun to follow.

A small number of children were lucky enough to be invited to read and review Mini Winnie which is the freader reviewsirst Winnie Young Fiction title. Here's a taster....'Each page of the book is crammed full of really cool jokes and Korky Paul’s illustrations are great, making me chuckle away for hours. It’s a fantastic book and I can’t wait to get hold of more of the series to see what Winnie gets up to.'....

Synopsis

Winnie Says Cheese by Laura Owen

If you think you know Winnie the Witch, think again! In 'Winnie and the Toof Fairy' you'll find out what Winnie does when she realises she's not the only one with the ability to wave a wand; in 'Winnie's One-Witch Band' she tries to match Wilbur's musical talents; in 'Itchy Witchy' Winnie takes Wilbur (and his fleas) to the pet show; and in 'Winnie Says Cheese' Winnie and Wilbur take some supremely silly snapshots to add to their photo album.

Four crazily funny stories featuring everyone's favourite witch, her big black cat, Wilbur, and a zany supporting cast of new characters. Korky Paul's exuberant black line illustrations complement the humour, slapstick, and moments of real drama that run through each story.

(Each book contains four complete stories)
