About the Author

Alan Combes began writing as a teacher and has since combined a 30-year teaching career with success as a writer, both as an author and as a football journalist for newspapers such as The Sunday Times. His other titles for Barrington Stoke include City Boy and The Dead Man Files. He lives in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.
