Stevie is a passionate storyteller and advocate for children's literacy. As a mother of three, she understands firsthand the power of stories to inspire young minds and foster inclusivity. With a background in Learning and Development, she combines creativity with a love for literacy and diversity in her writing.

Stevie is the author of "Scarlett the Turtle" and "Poppy the Parrot," both picture books in a collection themed on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I), featuring neurodivergent main characters. Notably, "Poppy the Parrot" is the first children's book printed using bionic reading text, an innovative approach to enhance reading comprehension and speed. Stevie is also the recipient of The Emily Dickinson 21st Century Award for a collection of poems she wrote about pregnancy and birth during the global pandemic and lockdown.

"The Quest to Save Football" marks Stevie's debut in juni
