Tina Carr-Deaton grew up in the mountains of East Tennessee. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for 29 years and has two sons. Tina is a realtor and a pastor's wife. She has been a realtor for the last 15 years and also teaches as a substitute at local schools in her area. For the last four years, she has also served as an activities director for an assisted-living senior home. Tina has written several children's books over the years. She started writing children's stories when her own two boys were very young, which was over 19 years ago, but has just recently submitted her works for publishing. She was motivated to be a published author after being a substitute teacher and felt like today's children would love her stories. Tina enjoys working out, travelling, and spending time with her family, and her dog, Misty. She looks forward to sharing all of the children's stories she has written and creating many more.
