Every year, World Book Day offers every child and young person the opportunity to have a book of their own. They give out £1/€1.50 book tokens through schools, early years settings and through partners that children can use to choose and own a £1/€1.50 book – for free. The World Book Day books are a gift from booksellers and publishers.

World Book Day 2027 will take place on Thursday 4th March 2027.
