The title and story of THE PERFECT DOLL both center on the theme of not judging people by their outward appearance, or what the culture defines as "e;perfect"e; but rather to look deeper to see what is hidden inside a person. This book challenges the reader to use God's eyes, not their own, when measuring a persons' worth since it is God who is their true Creator and Author and Finisher of their life. I think the scripture that best illustrates what I'm trying to get across in the story of THE PERFECT DOLL can be found in 1 Samuel 16:7. . . . . . The Lord does not look at things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. . . . . . I also hope that the reader will also have God's eyes to see themselves, and realize how wonderfully and fearfully they were made by their father in Heaven.
