Synopsis
Zoe And The Wishing Star by Jane AndrewsAs Zoë and Pip help the Fairy Queen one evening they see the Wishing Star. As they gaze at it they are suddenly whisked away from the Fairy Kingdom into the real world. Below them is a little girl reading a book about cats and longing for one of her own. This isn’t possible her mother explains, and even Zoë and Pip find that all the cats they talk to are very happy with their lot. However, in the same large house the fairies see a sad-looking cat through the window of his flat. And Zoë and Pip find a solution that tests their magic powers.

About The Author
After art college Jane Andrews was a freelance illustrator for two children’s publishers. She also worked in the drawing office of a factory, and in various design studios as a paste up and finish artist, before returning to illustration after the birth of her two sons. She now works mostly on educational books and magazines as well as for Piccadilly.
She has written and illustrated books for Piccadilly Press including Milly at Magic School and the popular Zoë series.
Jane lives in High Wycombe, Bucks. She enjoys all sorts of music, ballet, weekly keep fit classes, swimming, food, going to the cinema and travel (finances permitting).
