"A game of four hoofs: joyfully silly football cartoon strip"
Hoof the unicorn knows he’s got star potential as a footballer; he just needs to find the right team. Could it be Bad United? Managed by a mermaid, with a (bigger than average) spider in goal, a dinosaur in defence and a fairy up front, one thing’s certain: with this side, anything’s possible.
In their game against the Blazing Dragons though, United are down 5–0 at half-time. Can Hoof dig deep and turn it around?
Hoof’s story is told via cartoon style strip, with short text and lots of speech bubbles making this perfect for beginner readers. The joyful silliness of the story and the unusual nature of the players will certainly catch and hold their attention too and this is a very funny and unusual football read.
All Hoof the Unicorn wants to do is be part of a football team but his club never appreciated his talents and kicked him out. Then he spots an advert for BAD UNITED and he feels a tingling in his hooves. A chance to be part of a team again! A chance to play the game he loves! And a chance to show off his skills…
