The Lovereading4Kids comment

This trilogy just gets better and better and this, the finale of the trilogy, caps them all. The threads of the story developed through the whole trilogy come together very neatly but in ways the reader doesn't expect, but nonetheless it's highly satisfying. A great series for anyone of 11+ will love.

The trilogy as a whole is a powerful sequence of interlinked romantic fantasy novels, following the relationship between a normal London teenaged girl who finds a bracelet in the Thames and, through it, an extraordinary connection with the hidden beings who died in the river, and must now consume human happiness to exist.

Synopsis

Scattering Like Light by S. C. Ransom

Alex knows there's a way that she and Callum can be together. Catherine holds the key to unlocking the secret but she's disappeared. Olivia has answers, too, but they're hidden deep inside her troubled mind and won't be found. It seems impossible but Alex can't give up. The question is, how much will she risk to be with the one she loves? Could it be everything?

Reviews

“There are a number of unexpected twists to the action that took the story to a completely unexpected direction, the threads of the plot coming together beautifully. The ending was simply that beautiful. The additional information regarding the history of the amulet in the prologue provided great insight and rounded of the end of the trilogy perfectly.” - Book Angel Booktopia, Scattering Like Light

“A perfectly satisfying conclusion to what has been a hugely enjoyable trilogy … This is truly a great series” - Library Mice, Scattering Like Light
