Adèle Geras was born in Jerusalem and spent her early childhood in many different countries. She read French and Spanish at Oxford and worked as an actress, a singer and a teacher before becoming a full-time writer. She has published more than 90 books for children and young adults, including WISHES FOR YOU for Piccadilly Press.
