Andrew Gold was a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer who worked on everything from TV theme songs (including "Thank You For Being a Friend" for The Golden Girls), to Linda Ronstadt records (like her breakthrough album Heart Like a Wheel), to his own top-40 hits, such as "Lonely Boy"-and so much more. In 1996, he released the album Halloween Howls: Fun & Scary Music, which included "Spooky, Scary Skeletons," along with eight other original scary tunes.
