Gabe Guarente was born and raised in Hillsdale, New Jersey, and graduated from several non-Hellish educational institutions, including Tufts University, where he earned a degree in English. He's the author of the middle grade novel Hook, Line, and Sinker and the coauthor of the comic book series Comeback Kings, which earned praise from the Huffington Post, Newsarama, and other outlets. In his thirteen-year magazine career, Gabe's feature writing has appeared in publications as diverse as Us Weekly and Men's Health. He currently lives in New York City with his TV and cockroaches.
