Gary Woodson, and his wife Liz, having raised four children on their forty-acre homestead in Eastern Oklahoma, now serve as hosts to nine dogs, whom they have branded “Our Happymakers.” Since his birth in Memphis, Tennessee, Gary has surrounded himself with an assorted array of pets, but man’s best friend has forever garnered the apple of his eye, perennially granting and modeling for him the divine attributes of unconditional love, unwavering loyalty, and underserved forgiveness. Upon graduation from Arkansas State University, Gary joined the campus ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ, later receiving a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, and Doctor of Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
