Janie Lee McLean was born in 1993 in Australia and lived with her father Ken, and her brother Jeffrey. She has had guinea pigs since she was two years old running wild in her back yard and her father lost count at thirty-eight. Today she has four special guinea pigs, girls) Daisy and Tulip and (boys) Oscar and Junior. Her love for drawing started when she was three and on receiving her first dragon figurine at the age of seven she became obsessed with drawing them. When she was twelve, she received a special arts award which encouraged her drawing to continue with her two passions dragons and guinea pigs.
