Karen Horner was born and raised in Yorkshire and still lives in the county with her only daughter. Her career has been predominately in administration for charitable organisations. Karen's love of stories began in her youth by reading Roald Dahl books and today has an eclectic taste in reading. Tom's Amazing Adventure is her first book and was moved by a real event, where one person inspired the entire country and became a national hero.
