She has always been creative and had a flair for story telling, but when her mum passed away from ovarian cancer she decided to take her writing to the next level by making her writing an important part of her life. Kate's passion is to help children by empowering them while giving them the joy of reading. Although writing is her dream she finds it a challenge because of her dyslexia. She does not let this stop her but it actually impels her to reach her goals.
