Keith Mackenzie Ross is a retired NHS GP; he comes from an artistic family. His mother painted and his father was fond of drawing cartoons for his children. Keith's brother was a fine wood carver and his sister wrote poetry. A niece, Katie, exhibits art in Barcelona; another niece, Jenny, is a well-known potter in Latheron, Caithness, while a third niece, Alice, is a photographer, and her son, Knox Field, is an accomplished sculptor of animal bronzes. Keith himself played keyboard and zither but found practising too difficult so changed to writing. This is his first book.
