Malcolm Moyes has published work in a range of different genres since leaving his native South Yorkshire. He is equally at home writing academic texts as he is with being a football columnist and fanzine editor. He has published two children's novels, The Boy Who Preferred to be Somebody Else (Matador, 2016) and The Boy Who Still Preferred to be Somebody Else (Matador, 2017)
