Natalia Price qualified and worked as a schoolteacher in Brazil, where she originally comes from. When she came to the UK, she worked in nurseries and crèches, mostly with infants and toddlers. After working with children for a total of 18 years, Natalia decided to have a career change and became a police detective. Meanwhile, she had her first and only child, Róisìn Isabella, whose interactions with the family's Jack Russell puppy, Harley, provided inspiration for Natalia's writing.
