At high school Octavian accidentally set off an explosive chemical reaction during a lab session and he has been defying convention and making science fun and accessible ever since. Alongside working for a major pharmaceutical firm, Octavian is most happy when giving back to his community and he regularly volunteers to help out at his local high school giving talks on topics ranging from sustainability, global warming and why physics and chemistry are so important.
