René Mullin is a printmaker and designer who is based in Belfast. Her company (www.placed.ie) specialises in giving Irish language products – including mugs, cards, wrapping paper and bags – a modern twist. René is currently the Craftsperson in Residence in the Fashion, Print and Textiles Department of the Belfast School of Art. Aibítir is her first book.
