Now semi-retired as a company director, Steve finally had the opportunity to pursue his long-awaited writing career from his family home in rural Essex. Besides being a musician and successful singer-songwriter, Steve is also a qualified personal trainer and nutritionist. However, his true passion lies in writing children's books, and it shows, with his first four books already successfully published and a further book to be published early in 2025. In fact, his writing skills have been recognised before after being nominated at the Los Angeles Music Awards for Best International Newcomer and with the presentation of a prestigious award for his music and lyrics at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards. Although Steve still produces and writes music, he devotes his time to his new career as a children's author.
