V A Morrison was born in Portsmouth but spent her childhood in Germany and Malaya. On leaving school, she attended Portsmouth Art College and now enjoys writing and illustrating her own books, which include TUMPH (Matador 2019) and Abigail and Ted (Matador, 2020).
