Yorkshire born and bred, Vivienne McGill was educated at Huddersfield High School. Retired from work in financial services in Leeds, she now lives in Pontefract. A friendly blackbird who enjoyed raisins from her doorstep was the inspiration for Vivienne to write Tatty the Bold Blackbird.
