The first LoveReading4Kids Ambassador Book Buzz focuses on Jasper: Space Dog by Hilary Robinson and Illustrated by Lewis James. An out of this world (space pun) story that is the first in a series about "the ambitions Charlie Tanner and his Dog, Jasper". This book has been released to mark the 50th anniversary of the moon landings and is filled with facts about the space mission.
Jasper Space Dog is a clever mix of fun and facts. Charlie and Jasper’s letters raise many of the questions that everyone wonders about such as Is the moon made of cheese? and Is there a man on the moon and does he have a dog? - Julia Eccleshare M.B.E.
Charlie and Jasper's story is cleverly told through letters to Isabelle the astronaut. The letters from Charlie and Jasper are filled with all the questions anyone could ever think of and Isabelle's responses are clear, precise and full of easy to understand facts about space, space travel and the first moon landing.
