LoveReading View on Frida and Bear

In his time as Children’s Laureate, Anthony Browne introduced the Shape Game. Invented when he was child and played it with his brother, the Shape Game is a feast of imagination  as one person draws a shape and another turns it into a picture. Here, friends Frida and Bear draw shapes for each other and turn them into some unexpected and entertaining pictures. ~ Julia Eccleshare

Frida and Bear Synopsis

Celebrate the power of the imagination with this inspiring picture book, a collaboration between the multi-award winning former Children's Laureate Anthony Browne and the Danish illustrator Hanne Bartholin.

Frida and Bear both love to draw - but what? First Frida draws a shape, then Bear turns it into a picture. Then Bear draws a shape for Frida as the shape game begins again. Anthony Browne and Hanne Bartholin will inspire creativity in this imaginative picture book that invites the reader to join in and play the shape game too.
